Donate Life Maryland Appoints New Executive Director

(BALTIMORE, MD) August 13, 2012 – The Board of Directors for Donate Life Maryland, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing donor designations throughout the State of Maryland, is pleased to announce the appointment of Elizabeth (Libby) Wolfe as Executive

Director. Ms. Wolfe steps into the role most recently held by Natalie Benavides, who has moved on to the Director of Hospital Services with New York Organ Donor Network.

Ms. Wolfe’s experience as a Project Manager with The Living Legacy Foundation, an organization that has long worked in tandem with Donate Life Maryland, to establish and maintain key relationships with the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration to increase donor designation, develop programs to increase public awareness of organ, eye and tissue donation and create internal and external communications to shareholders, made her the ideal candidate for the position.

Donate Life Maryland Board Member Patricia Murphy cites that “Libby’s breadth of work within the world of advertising, marketing and public relations coupled with her experience to implement strategies to bolster education and participation through The Living Legacy Foundation makes her appointment a win-win for Donate Life Maryland as well as its partners across the state. Knowing how the process works plus having a passion for the cause is paramount to continuing our work.”

Ms. Wolfe is a graduate of Towson University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications.
