Religious Beliefs

Because the clergy are often called to hospitals when family members suffer a tragedy, it is crucial for clergy members to be informed about how their particular denomination views donation so that they can provide support before, during and after the donation process.

There is a high degree of certainty that someone in every congregation that has a donation or transplantation connection--or someone who has died while waiting. So we are asking every spiritual leader to not only become educated about donation, but take action to encourage members to register to donate. Donation saves lives - everyone has the power to donate life.

We hope every faith leader will give 100% support to the effort that reflects the principal that there is no greater love than to save the lives of our fellow citizens. Together we can make a difference.
