Register at the MVA

You can register as an organ, eye and donor at the MVA through any in person, online, kiosk or mail-in transaction for a driver's license or state ID.  As of October 1, 2015, the MVA also offers persons wishing to register as a donor the choice to have the heart symbol noted on their license or ID.

In Person at MVA Branches
Register at MVA

You can register as a donor at any Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration branch when you obtain a new driver's license or state identification card or when you renew your license or ID. The MVA will also change your donor designation at anytime at no charge, as long as donor designation is the only item you are updating. Visit the MVA to locate your nearest branch.
