After You Register

If you have registered online, at a community event or through the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA), you are designated as a donor with Donate Life Maryland's registry. Designating as a donor is a decision that should be celebrated and shared with your family. Since donor cards are no longer issued, here are some ways to share your support of organ, eye and tissue donation with your family and friends.

Facebook

You can share that you're an organ donor on your Facebook timeline. Here's how:

  1. Click Life Event at the top of your timeline.
  2. Select Health & Wellness.
  3. Select Organ Donor.
  4. Select your audience and click Save.

Share Your Inspiration

Designating as a donor is a decision to be proud of. Take a moment to read quotes from currently designated persons. You can share your quote to be added to our Get Inspired page.

Have a Conversation

No one likes to talk about death, but we do encourage you to share your donation wishes with your loved ones. It only needs to be a brief discussion and it can help provide comfort at a family's time of loss.

Be a Social Supporter

One of the best ways to show your support of organ, eye and tissue donation is through social media.  We encourage you to take a moment to join us as a social supporter by finding us, following us and sharing our important message with your friends and followers.
